ATLANTA, Feb. 14, 2017 – The Technology Executives Roundtable (TER), an association that consists of more than 120 CEOs, CFOs and general managers in Georgia’s technology community, today announced that Walter Czarnecki, president and CEO of OmniMetrix, has been elected TER president. In addition, Karyn Mullins, EVP and General Manager of Healthcare Staffing Technologies, has been appointed to the organization’s Board of Directors.

Czarnecki and Mullins will be recognized in their respective new roles at the Feb. 21 meeting, to be held at 7 a.m. at the City Club of Buckhead in Atlanta. The breakfast meeting will feature a panel discussion on tech mergers and acquisitions in the Trump administration and how Atlanta’s tech community will be impacted. “This is a dynamic and unique organization that provides invaluable insights for entrepreneurs to network and learn from some of Georgia’s brightest technology executives,” said Czarnecki. “Always looking for ways to improve the organization, we’re launching a listening campaign to both TER members and non-members this week. Through these one-on-one and small group meetings, we hope to identify even more ways TER can better meet the needs of our community’s technology leaders.”

As president and CEO of OmniMetrix, Czarnecki has more than 15 years of management, strategy and P&L leadership experience building high-growth companies in technology and energy across global markets. Prior to OmniMetrix, Czarnecki served as VP of Business Development at Acorn Energy, OmniMetrix’s parent company, and as Director of Corporate Strategy at Ener1, Inc.

As EVP and General Manager of Healthcare Staffing Technologies, Mullins is responsible for strategic planning, as well as running day-to-day business operations of this marketing-driven business. Prior to Healthcare Staffing Technologies, Mullins served as Vice President of Marketing for Lightyear Direct and held marketing management positions at CipherTrust and Internet Security Systems.

“Both Walter and Karyn bring great leadership experience and creativity to the board,” said Eric Christ, immediate past-president of TER and CEO of PracticeAdmin. “Their involvement with the organization the last couple of years, along with support of the 2017 board, will allow them to make an even more meaningful contribution.”
