Technology Executives Roundtable to Honor Bill Nussey With John Imlay Leadership Award

Award Recognizes Nussey’s Outstanding Contributions to the Georgia Technology Community

ATLANTA – Oct. 28, 2014 – The Technology Executives Roundtable (TER), an association that consists of more than 120 CEOs, CFOs and general managers in Georgia’s technology community, announced that it will honor Bill Nussey, Chief Executive Officer of Silverpop, an IBM company, with the Fifth Annual John Imlay Leadership Award at an award ceremony Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014 at 6 p.m. at the Hyatt Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina.

 

The John Imlay Leadership Award recognizes and celebrates individuals that have shown exceptional leadership on behalf of the Georgia high-tech community. It is named in honor of John Imlay, Jr., chairman of Imlay Investments, who is credited with helping create two of Atlanta’s biggest tech industries – software and Internet security.

 

Nussey has 30 years of experience running technology and Internet companies. As CEO of Silverpop, Nussey has guided the company to become a leading digital marketing provider that offers cloud-based email marketing and lead management solutions.

 

“Bill’s leadership has greatly contributed to Georgia’s thriving technology industry,” said Asif Ramji, president of TER. “Through years of hard work, Bill has guided several technology entrepreneurs and companies to success, and it is a privilege to recognize him as this year’s recipient of the John Imlay Leadership Award.”

 

Nussey has been honored with numerous awards over the years, including Consulting Magazine’s Most Influential Consultant in the World, the Direct Marketing Association's Marketing Award of Excellence and the Technology Association of Georgia’s Lifetime Achievement Award. He is the author of A Quiet Revolution in Email Marketing and is a regular speaker at industry, business and academic events.
