Technology Executives Roundtable (TER) is where C-suite executives and investors of Georgia technology organizations meet to exchange, challenge and test their ideas through candid talk about complex issues to unlock business value.

Monthly meetings are Member & Invited Guest gatherings for top executives in tech. You can expect a great room and strategic opportunity for high-level networking and market insights.

Meetings feature speakers and panels covering topics such as

There are four individual membership categories, as well as two organization membership options. Please review the requirements to see if you’re eligible to join TER.

Nomination/Application Process

Membership requires

  • Nomination by a TER member in good standing
  • Completion of an application
  • Approval by the Board
  • Payment of the annual membership fee, which includes the cost of all meetings

Individual Memberships

Executive Member

  • A C-suite executive holding a qualifying title, including CEO, CFO, CTO, COO, CIO, CMO, CHRO, Chief Risk Officer, General Counsel, General Manager.
  • A technology company is defined by having its primary source of revenue be from the sale or license of hardware, software, biotech or telecommunications products or from providing services using proprietary technology. Companies providing non-proprietary services are generally not eligible.
  • The company must meet one of the following performance metrics: $1MM in funding – OR – 10 employees – OR – $1MM annual revenue run rate. If your organization is currently at an earlier stage, please see our “Scaling Member” membership category.
  • The cost for an Executive Membership is $500 per year.

Scaling Member

  • The CEO of an early-stage scaling technology business. The CEO must be doing this full time, with a business plan, product, executive summary, and financial model.
  • A technology company is defined by having its primary source of revenue be from the sale or license of hardware, software, biotech or telecommunications products or from providing services using proprietary technology. Companies providing non-proprietary services are generally not eligible.
  • The company must meet one of the following performance metrics: $250K in angel or friends & family funding – OR – 3+ full-time employees – OR – $500K revenue run rate. Furthermore, the company should be at $1MM in revenue – OR – $1MM in funding – OR – 10 employees within 12 months to remain a member.
  • The candidate must be recommended AND sponsored by a TER Member.
  • The cost for a Scaling Membership is $500 per year.

Serial Entrepreneur Member

  • The candidate has met TER criteria for membership in the past, and likely to again in the future. The candidate’s current role cannot be in conflict with services provided by a TER Sponsor.
  • The candidate must be recommended by a current TER member.
  • The cost for a Serial Entrepreneur Membership is $500 per year.

Investor (VC/PE) Member

  • Venture Capital and Private Equity individuals who are actively investing in technology businesses in Atlanta/SE (no banks, agents, etc.).
  • The candidate must be recommended by a current TER member.
  • The cost for an Individual Investor Membership is $500 per year.

Organization Memberships

Corporate

  • Up to three of an organization’s most senior executives with a C-suite title can attend per event, with the exception of named Chief Sales, Revenue, or Growth Officers.
  • For organizations that don’t have a C-suite title, the Board will consider SVP titles.
  • The cost for a Corporate Membership is $750 per year.

Investor (VC/PE) Firm

  • Venture Capital and Private Equity firms that are actively investing in technology businesses in Atlanta/SE (no banks, agents, etc.).
  • Candidate(s) must be recommended by a current TER member.
  • Up to three firm representatives may attend each TER event.
  • The cost for an Investor Firm Membership is $750 per year.
